I am pleased to announce our new forum section called DIY Advice/tips/articles

The section of the site is dedicated to posting and collecting articles with tips on DIY's, regular DIY maintenance and anything that the begginer to advanced DIY'er can do with a few tools and some extra time. Every week Team NET will come up with a new Tip card that will have some basic information to make you a better DIY'er. If you post something new plese begin the title with DIY so that we can know what it refers to this specific section. Like always I welcome anyone that has an idea or a submission to this section, and of course if you see a mistake please correct it.

And now I present to you our first Tip card. This one focuses primarily on the Corolla 1993 - 2002, but some of the tips are basic enough that can be applied to any car.

One more thing:

**Disclaimer** North Eastern Tuners provides this service as is and for information purposes only. Always consult with a certified mechanic before doing any work to your car **/End Disclaimer**

Only the 93-97 need to have the tension adjusted. The 98-05 don't need to have it checked since it uses a serpentine belt which is automatically adjusted by the tensioner.

A future DIY tip will have an article describing how to check and adjust the tension int he older models.
