ok guys i am searching new rims and tires for next winter. I dont want to mess up my chromes in the winter.

I was thinking of getting some stock 14 or 15 in rims with snow tires... Do you guys think i should get aftermarket rims 14 or 15 or just look around for 14in stock rims. i mean will there be alot of price difference??

you have steelies on your car now right? since you already have summer wheels and tires, just throw a set of snow tires on the steelies and sell the tires you have on them now. It's all about the bridgestone blizzaks. They're alittle extra money but so worth it. Michelin snow pilots are good too. Tirerack seems to have the best price I could find

so just throw snow tires on your stock wheels. The 17s will get you through everything else

there are 2 things to keep in mind when buying snow tires though. the wider the tires the better they are on ice, but the thinner the tires the better they are in deep snow so try to find a happy medium. Although the rubber compound on the blizzaks are supposed to use the water that forms between your tires and the ice to help it stick better to ice. Tire rack has videos of them testing a4s on an ice rink with the blizzaks, pilots and another tires. Blizzak came out on top. WInter is basically over though. You shouldn't be concerned about snow tires now
