Hum, so I guess you have H4 HID's then right?

I mean you can always out a ligth tester on the end of the bulb socket and turn on your lights adn see which one powers up with what switch?

I think you need different bulbs to get them to fit in the 2002 front end. They have sparate high/low bulbs as you alrady know.

If not then you will need to mod the current HID's to fit.

Good luck, and take some pics when you can.

i'm interested too Smiley

are they still in a good condition? from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, how would you rate them?

my headlights are fine but i was involved in an accident a while back and now my left headlight is MUCH cleaner than my right side headlight.

I have the E Class' HID and it would looks nicer with both newer headlights Smiley

Rick,

If it's your lens that is kind of scratched/dull you may want to try a polishing kit. I found this one that is recommended, but I have not tried it myself. I will get it soon and give it a try since my headlights need some loving!

http://www.properautocare.com/plaslenclean.html

If you buy it and try it let us know if it does work.

BTW this site has great tips on how to keep your ride clean, and the do's and dont's!

I find it extremely helpful. I know I have posted it here before, but I am doing it again as a refresher!

the conversion is easy, but you wont be able to keep your H4 HID's because the 01-02 headlights use 9006 as low beams.  but i think you may be able to just splice the wires into a 9006 socket if your HID is plug and play, since its plug and play, all you need is the end of the socket to fit, not the headlight part.  As far as the conversion, you need the headlights, the corner lights, the bumper, and the headlight wiring.

i want to keep my hid i'll just have to buy 9006 hid bulds. as far as the highbeams can i cut my stock wiring and make a pulg to fit the buld. and you said i have to change my coner lights why? aren't they the same
