A Sway bar is a bar that goes under the car and prevents lurching and body roll, in turn helping your suspension and ride quality Smiley

I'll give you a real quick run down on what a swab bar is

A sway bar is a bar, that wil connect the left subframe to the right subframe.  This bar is there to prevent body roll by transering the force across the car's substructure.  this forces the car to remain more level.  There is a warning.  you can buy a sway bar that is too big.  if your bar is of ridiculous(i know i can't spell) size it will break one of the lower control arm, or snap the sway bar mount.  doing either of these is bad news for the wallet.

I would post what a sway bar looks like and it's location but my site is currently down.  A capasitor was fried in the server's board.
