its nuttin like heather is doin to her ride but im going simple, heres my ride w. the windows tinted.  a closer look, keep in mind the front ones look clearer cause of the front windownot being tinted.  more to come. |

Tint looks nice. Helps keep a clean look on the car. Oh and Martin11581, yeah, 5% is illegal here in NJ, but that doesn't mean anything. :wink: I've got 5% tint on all the windows except the windshield on my protege and I have only gotten stopped once for it and that was in seaside during the summer.

i have a 5in strip of 5 % tint on my windshield...wont pass inspection lol...
I had to buy the damn sticker :-)
i really have to redo all my tints! The passenger side window was broken last year so that window has no tint... and my rear door on the driver side has a hole in it due to a cirgatette burn some idiot caused :roll:

the fog lights on  7" monitor  a closer look (legagcy lcd monitor)  & a lil sticker had them made.  the dvd player is located under the passenger seats the pic dont look good so i didnt posted. wut u guys think? btw corollaSgrl03 that is a lexus style grill. |

thx, as for the fogs they use the pre wire that the car had but in the fuse box they thru a wire there to the switch & added a lil switch to turn them off, bu they also work with the park lights (when i turn the yellow lights on). i can explain better in person lol.
as for the monitor & dvd im a 95% happy due to they had to take the aor vent out so when the monitor isnt there u can see a gap well take a pic during the week so u can see wut im talking about. other that is pretty good need to adjust the colot better just was to tired to do any of that stuff.
mointor & dvd install for 175
50 for the fog lights
20 for two teamnet stickers
total 245 plus tip 20 = 265

Hey I wanted to know how much you payed for the 7" monitor and also what kind of DVD player you got. Does it play CDR-W,SVCD,VCD,Mini DVD, and pictures??? How does the picture look on that 7" monitor? I've seen really shitty ones in my friends car. I've been looking for an in-dash DVD player with the built in LCD screen. Is it much better to go your setup or have everything built into the indash DVD player? I found your monitor for 110 dollars on-line not including shipping.

hey thx all, as for the dvd player it plays all that stuff u mention king_lionheart, as foe the monitor either i need to learn how to adjust the color or it sucks i need to figure it out, not to happy with it. but will keep it for awhile.
as for price i brought the player (brand name pious) & monitor (legacy) for 175. off a guy who was saling it, never install.
i think im going to stop modding the ride for now to save up. cause i really need to start looking for a bigger place. i live in a studio apt. start looking for a one bed room apt. so i think i did enough to it (the car) until maybe the summer ill get the intake muffler lipkit & rear spoiler.

pete it looks great. But man I dought you'll be able to tweak the screen much. But just remember you get what you pay. But as far as I see it looks pretty good. Man you got a screen and dvd playa son, stop yo b*tchin, lol. Pete the car is coming along real good man.
So new aprtment, huh, yeah maybe wedding bells in the back ground soon.

lol wedding bells u guys r funny reallllll funny, no its that i live in this studio apt. 5 years it is my first place. so i feel like its time for a change and need more room for the all the gadgets. oh btw i live with my grl for 1 yr so we kinda like married plus im not afraid of wedding bells like others  lol i talk a good game that i wont buy nuttin for the ride if i see something i like trust me i will jump on it like if i just saw alicia keys or beyonce or vivica foxx mmmmmmmmmm i wish lol... as for the screen oh will it might have a lil bad pic but w. the hell of w. it i can really see the thing awhile driving anywayz (need to let my grl drive more often) lol but (ok im going to get in trouble now) u know how women drive lol... |

I could no whore, er, post today because I was working on a special project for work, and I was aways from the computer te whole day. Likse I said Pete, the ride looks great! It is good tha you are thinking of moving out, cuz you have to hook up hte crib as well!! Even though I know what you mean, you'll see something and jump on it! I am working on getting the stickers done. Hopefully we can have one uniform one, and everybody like it. Nah Jeff, no big plans for me kid! hopefully the new year does bring a couple of BIG ones my way! I mean big plan!  |
