Found a site that says they'll do a 150 amp alt
They say to call so I think it will cost more than the $250 80 amp stock replacement.
I think I'll be saving up this winter.

you could probably take your alternator to an alternator shop and have it rewound for a fraction of the price.

The site says they can do upgrades and rebuilds, I just haven't looked into it yet.  Another thing is you would have to send in your alt for them to upgrade it.
When your as broke as I am I keep my eyes peeled but everything stays on the back burner until the cash is availible.

man I feel you, but look into just going to a local shop, saves you shippin, and should cost less, I know cause there are a few in queens when I went to find out for my ride.  I still havent done it yet, but soon.
