anyone would be interested atteding a meeting in Jersey 8/17
in fort lee , about 5-10 mins from Lincoln Tunnel and 15-20
from holand tunnel, and 45mins from Central Jersey
it's right in between of NJ/NY

there's alot of parking space with no security guard
in there so we don't have to worry about that
it's gonna be a short meeting, maybe 2-3hrs
we will get together, talk about our "CLUB"
eat, take pictures, check out what's new with each other's ride

then there's pool hall, a small acrade, Mc Donald, Japanese Car accessories store and Japanese supermarket with food court
not a whole lot of entertainment but enough for us
to sit down and talk about maybe our "CLUB"

Sounds nice. I don't know yet if I can make it. I will need directions because I'm not familar with the area. I think I've been to Fort Lee one time. It was with my friend who works in Fort Lee.

I know Tony, I'd like to meet you and the 'crew' too.

Hey, are we also heading down to the park by the bridge?? You know we could do a BBQ and play some games as well. (volleyball, etc) Shoot I also have some aerobic kites that are fun as hell, and the wind is pretty good out there. Plus the picture taking with the GW in the back is mad nice!

Let's hear what people have to say!

if we haev more than 10,  :-P  :-P  :-P

Laz:
we can deff. head to the park you mentioned together
after the little get-together. We can play bball, volleyball,
anything. Or if it's hot, rainning or bad weather, we can go shoot
some pool or head home

LAZ:
Yes we have 2 "OFFICIAL" nj/ny group BBQ grill  Smiley
I can bring that along with me! I also have some charcoal
left from last time!

03girl:
bring as much ppl as you want, it's ok

pcmorz:
please accept my aplogy!!!  Cool      Tongue
ok now you are IN, don't "NO SHOW" or I will
have to take my aplogy back!  Cool
You're from LI, I think you can travle with
LAZ, Jeff (if he comes), 03 girl, and TOMMY aka PHONZETONE

the place is called edgewater, river road.

As a matter of fact, if LAZ wanna go to that park and BBQ
we can just go there. As long as there's a good attendance
it doesn't matter where we have the meet! I'll be there

nah my question was the park that we are going to is it fort lee histroical park?

if is that park it not located in edgewater. it located in fortlee now if there other park that you guys are talking about that is located in edgewater. let me cuz i only know of one park in edgewater and they don't allow bbq.
it's more of a recreation park it's perfect for couples to go to you sit by the river and just chill.

This is the best that I could find in terms of a description of a park and directions.

http://www.users.nac.net/chasstamm/hrfanjorg/rossdock.htm

They allow BBQ's there (I had a couple) and it is right near the water. If anyone owns a jetski  :-D  They can put it in the river from this location as well!

Cool! Yes, I can meet with as many people before we head to NJ. If anyone in queens knows where Queens Center is, I can meet you all near there, if not pick the place. We can go one of two ways. Either the Triboro bridge/George Washington bridge way (faster but have to pay 4 dollars) or the Quuensborough Bridge/Lincoln Tunnel (slower but free!) way. So, everybody just get yourself ready and mark the 17 as he meet day. We should meet early just because we have to travel and it's a good idea to get a good place in the park as well. We should also get a head count and see if anyone is interested in bringing some stuff. I can probably bring sodas and hot dogs. Anyone else? we need stuff like paper plates, cups, hot dog buns, hamburger buns, hamburgers, chips, etc.

Hum, I think if we are there by 1 PM it would be good. I think it'll be nice to get a good headcount to see how much stuff we should bring. We also need a cooler(s) with ice for the soda. I think I might be able to get some good BBQ meat and maybe sausages. Is anyone not into meat? I may think about bringing the ball-and-chain, but not sure yet. You are more than welcome to bring anyone though. If people have softball's and bats and gloves it may be nice to throw some balls around. I'll see if I can get a volleyball net so we can play some games. Any other thoughts???

I would definitely bring something but I am not sure yet if I will be able to make it.   I would like to attend this meet since I am probably getting a new job that requires weekends.  I probably wont be starting until Sept if I do get this job.
I do hope to be there but I am not definite yet.

i probably won't bring my ol'ball-n-chain this time
she isn't really into this
so instead of her waiting in the car i will just
tell her to do something else on her own

laz,
bball or soccer u guys interested in??
i play almost everything, from softball, baseball
to soccer, bball so whatever u guys
do i will enjoy

and as for food
we will try to IMPROVE i guess
maybe less soda and more food this time ...

btw
anyone think they can bring the grill back home this time?
i don want to store it all the time coz then
i feel like i OWN it, which isn't true because "WE" own it
anyone?

Tony, i would if i owned my own house, but unfortunatly i rent out an apartment so i have no room as it is, with my daughters toys scattered all over the apartment.

I'll probably bring my GF depending if she has plans with her other freinds, if not i'm sure her and my daughter will attend...   Warning, though   my daughter gets very jealouse if i pay too much attention to you guys, lol..    Last time she went to Brian aka Rolla7afe and told him off, by telling him that i belong to her only, lol I'm wooped by my 3 year old:sigh:

The bread makers and meat suppliers conspire against the consumers by selling packages of 8 buns and 6 patties. They won't let you win!

So what's the deal on the meet?
I mean, how many people are going to show?
I got the go ahead from the woman so I can go with or without her (like that will happen).  But I'm not driving 2.5 hours if only a couple people show.  We still flying with the bbq idea?
I see I'll need $4 for the park, any other expenses I should be worried about?
I've tried hitting vvti.net for info but they It says I'm not allowed to post, and I never received a e-mail confirming my account?

That would be cool! It would be great to see the 99% CAI in person! It seems like we'll have hopefully around ten people, but it all depends on the weather. I'll definitely be there, and I think we'll have a least five or six rollas. Have you been to other club meets before?? The park is nice, and regardless you'll have a nice time just coming down and relaxing. This is going to be an important meet since we will be deciding on the club name, and hopefully will come up with something. After that the first step is going to be an official domain for our site, and then we can start promoting the hell out of the club!  So come down, the worse that can happen is that only you and me show up, but from what I've seen with this group, I think we'll have at least 6 or 7 if not more.  I will be posting directions to the meet place soon.
