Two small fast spooling twins in sequence for me!!!
Actually the wet dream for the Subaru guys is a Twin Turbo H6!!!
And to see a monster like that would be heaven!
Subaru may still have it under wraps.
My all time favorite car, the biturbo maserati convertible.

Depends on how you set it up.... You can make more power, more efficiently and with a wider power band with twins on a JZ series motor... However, you can make big peak at less expense with a big single and it’s easier to tune a single. Having said that, I’m not a big fan of sequential, I just prefer strait twins. I built a twin RS turbo setup on a 10K rpm 1J motor that pushes just north of 700hp with ease, but it is a hard setup to get right and required a lot of tweeking.
And yes, if Subaru ever came out with an H6 and twins in something like an STi that would rock hard core. I used to have a 911, and I can tell you first hand from driving mine and other Porsches, twins on a well balanced H6, are wicked.

COBB actually may work on something like that at some point. They did some work on a Supercharged H6 for the B9 Tribeca.

cobb is a awesome company... my best man when I got married has a WRX with a stage 2 cobb ECU "flash". Mind you i'm using the term loosely... but his rex is awesome.
I think a H6 would be SWEET
but I still go for sequential.... with just alittle boost at idle....

Yes and No. Agene, each has it's advantages. It all depends on budget, tuning, setup, what sort of power band you like, how skilled the person building the system is and a bout a dozen other things. In the end, for the street, if set up properly, twins would give a more streetable performance, though I still disagree with
sequential
setup.
