I'm moving to NYC... Where are the good shops?

I'm moving to NYC this weekend and I'm having some trouble with a chattering noise coming from my engine and excessive oil consumption. Anyone know of a good shop that specializes in Toyota engine repair? What about suspension work, like corner balancing? I'll be in Newark for a while then moving to NYC, so any help would be appreciated.

What type of car you have? A lot of us do our own work.

I have a 94 Corolla with a 4AFE and 5 speed. I'm planning on doing a swap before the year is out, but I don't want this engine to give out on me prematurely.
