Stamford, CT.  45 mins from NYC.  Bout as close to NYC as you can get.

I would help, but I'm busy.  It is easy to do most of the time.

Here are some hints that will help, if you don't know about these.
*Hint have at least a extra lift to help push back the control arm back into the shock/strut.

*Also, remove the bolts of the swaybar on the control arm.  You might need someone to stand on top the rotor/drum to push the control arm down enough to get off the shock/strut.  Friend and I learned the hard way when the first time we worked on one.  We tried for half an hour to get the control arm down enough to remove the shock/strut, but realized to remove the swaybar bolt.

*Major thing, you might have to disconnect the brake line hoses holder off the control arm so they do not stretch pushing down on the control arm.

Any other things to worry about, post here. PM me if you want my cell phone # if you want to contact me if you run into a problem.

well i was at adams last nite and we got the front springs on but the rear ones on of the bolts to loosen the strut was a b!tch to come out and it was getting late plus some heavy rain was comming our way.

but i diffently will like to get the rear springs on cause the rolla looks & feels like a mini hotrod lol. plus the anti sway bar should be in by friday but those can wait to be install cause i heard the front ones are the headest to install.

as for a DIY at adams that u must discuss wit him.

and grandlordkhorne was nice meeting u to bad u had to bounce.

They rent tools for free at Auto Zone. See if you can borrow a breaker bar.

I would be careful, I use to work at Autozone.  They are suppose to let anyone work in their parking lot.  But every store is different.

Just curious, can you take a picture just on the whole sway bar including in it the it connecting on the control arm?  I have not seen personally the swaybar setup of your gen Corolla.

Just curious to see if there is something that is linked between the control arms  so it can handle a larger swaybar.  Teg, EG, EK, and possible other models Honda's, they do not have any reinforcement between the rear control arms.  So  when a larger swaybar is put, it bascially can destroy the frame of the car.  Meaning the mount on the lower control arm will tear off the frame.

I am just curious if there is the same problem with your generation Corolla.

Anyway, congrats on the setup.  It looks really nice.

There is no control arm on the back of teh 03+ Corollas. It is a solid beam axle, so it is not independent. On the older generations with the stiffer bar the first thinkg to go was the end links. You could always order aftermarket ones which were better. I do not believe Corolla's have control ars like Honda setups do, but someone correct if I am wrong. It basically just bolst up to an end link that goea to the strut, or in the case of 03+ to the solid rear asxle beam.
