was just wondering if anyone has actually dealt with shift kits or anything of the sort.  anyone out there thats even heard anything about them, all information is greatly appreciated.  i've found one my 96 corolla, but would be afraid to install it, let alone, haven't known anyone who has had one.  have 2 links for some of these kits, one shows all models(1). the other shows the advantages of reprogramming(2).

I have mine in a box for the A245E trany. A few people have it installed like Vamp and Hazer (not sure if members on this board) and others. I?m planning to do mine this summer; the kit instructions are not that clear. Will have to consult the repair manual also to make sure I drill and insert pins in the right places on the trany.

are they worth installing into a 96 with stock everything in terms of performance?  and if it is and i actually do wanna go thru with this, the site that i linked to only distributes to people, which i'd have to find one suitable for my car and get it delivered, not to mention installed.
