HOW MUCH?!

but most importantly, how much weight did you add to the car?

I'm interested in doing this... sounds like a good idea seeing how my engine bay is behind me in the MR2, and on top of that I'm installing two subs under the seats.

But i'm not about to sacrifice performance for sound.  know what i mean jelly bean?

Not much weight at all which is why I did it.  The amount you see in my car is 1 1/2 gallons, so I'm guessing, 20lbs?Huh??

I'm putting the carpet back in today.  The oddest thing when it was put in is the sound from the speakers.  It was richer, so I asked Grand about it and he said it's also used for aciustics.

In that case I might only use about 1/2 gallon.  I only have the inside compartment to worry about and the doors.

nice job though!

you wouldn't have the specific density of the liquid would you?

http://www.secondskinaudio.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi?p=ps&_scb=1  is the product.  Grand may be able to tell you more specifics as he tested it.  You'd ptolly need a lil more then a 1/2 gallon.  But it comes in 1 gallon containers anyway. Smiley

ASG14, you got about 5 to 10 lbs of that stuff... An MR2 would take about 1 gal to do the floors and fire wall...
