Possible way to trick thieves for stereo's.

Well, as I do once in a while, I get these wack a$$ idea's and just need to try them.  I was thinking how many people I know get thier stereo's, and equipment jacked.  I mean, even if you have your faceplate off, it's OBVIOUS you've done work, so "let's break in and see if there are subs".  So this is my dumb idea.  And it's a quick 10 minute job, so it's best said as a "VERY rough draft" just for the idea.

It's a good idea dont get me wrong.  That's why I'm thinking of doing a 00-02 camry CD/cassette deck in the MR2.  It looks sick, has great sound and is stock.

Yeah, it was just a ****ty quick throw together.  I did not trim it.  For the CD Camry deck, I think you mean '00-'01?  When you look for one, let me know, I can prolly locate one for a really good price for you.  Also there are 2 diff types, ext amp and int amp.  Lemme know.

your right, it is 00-01.

My wife has an 00 camry and I like her stereo.  It's a twin deck.  I don't know if it has internal or external.  which one is better? and what they look like?
