A thing to watch out for is water misting on dyno.  It will give a good reading, but not sure how accurate.  If enough airflow goes through then it can be accurate.  Like on a drag strip, depending on a setup, the effect on water misting might be different because of higher air speed traveling through the intercooler.

Another thing I can think of, couldn't CO2 spary be bad if setup wrong.  With some setup the turbo is basically right next the intercooler.  On the drag strip not everyone puts any kind of filter on the turbo inlet.  If the CO2 reaches the inlet of the turbo, wouldn't the efficiency be lost?

Just my thought.

Both of thows points are a grate resin to use an MR2 instead of somthing ells...  The MR2 has the turbo inlet on the opiset side of the car from the IC and the intercooler gets most of it's flow from the fan because of the way it's in there.  Which makes the test less subseptable to such things.

There was a company used to sell IC bars and stopped because they discovered that O2 getting into the intake was actually causing a drop in power rather than ultimately helping out. Just food for thought, wish I remember the link to their site.

GLK your testing might be good up to a certain point.

Having a FMIC with water misting on higher speed, can cause a different effect then.  Could be better then your testings for this kind of setup.

Another thing about my CO2 problem, you might want to include a caution message, the effects might be different for different setup.  Especially with people who have their turbos right next to the intercooler.
