I will be hosting a spring meet and diner get together in south east MA. I would first like to pre-invite all that attended the CT winter meet organized by ASG14, I demand that you come to this meet.
The idea is to get together, hang out (if there is interest we have a privet parking lot, indoor heated pool and big screen TV) and have dinner while we shoot the $h!t# + check out peoples cars. If your car will not be finished, do not worry, bring whatever and check out other peoples (this is more about getting together than showing off cars as spring is still iffy weather).
First of all, YES my wife will be cooking. The menu is not yet set but we are thinking something along the lines of a thanksgiving table with glazed ham involved (you have all seen pics of my wife?s evil studded glazed ham) and we will try our level best to meet everyone?s diet at least reasonably well. We may ask everyone to chip in a modest $5 for food and drinks cost or may consider asking that you bring something like soda or chips (it all depends on interest levels).
The attendance will be limited by the size of our dining table and limits of preparation time. Spots will be first come first serve unless you where at the Winter CT meet in which case I?m holding a space until you say yes or no.
For starters we need a date, so please suggest convenient dates if you are interested in attending.

I don’t know if HIN is Apr 29th, personally I don’t like HIN and so have never scheduled around them… Having said that, if there is a significant concern with HIN, I suppose we could push it back to the fallowing weekend, but that is up to the majority…

I would never ask anyone to schedule anything around an event, you are the one hosting it was stupid for me to even make that comment. I hope you have a chance to hold the meet so I can get a chance to see some of you guys.

no, HIN is definitely the 29th. BUT.. the 23rd holds a hugggggeeee meet in Hopkinton, MA... which, obviously everyone should go to.. i'll post details in moments.

I know what is coming on the 23rd and that is why I didn't sugest it. But agene, if more people can come or are interested in coming the first weekend in May instead of the 29th of april, speek up and we will be willing to push it back.
Keep in mined, my meet will be a small meet because of the limitation of the # of people my wife can cook for at one sitting.
Hay, boostin MR2 what are the chances you might show at my meet??

OK, we will be doing the first weekend of May. So mark your calendar May 6th. So time to talk about menu options. Main dishes: Bacon rapped Meat loaf… Pot roast… Sage roasted Turkey… Evil studded battle Ham… There will be fresh home made bread…There will be some sort of potato dish…Suggest other sides. For desert: There will be a normal cheesecake for sure. There will also be one of the fallowing: Apple pie, cake, Blueberry pie, demonic brownies, cookies… Or make a suggestion. Hear is how it will work… Post below, if you want to come. In your post put your choice for main dish, your favorite general type of bread, your favorite type of potato dish, a suggestion for a side dish, and a desert… If you do not post what you are interested in having… I will force you to go hungry… I will post some pics of food to make you hungry…

I'm not killing my self, I just don't like posting the word 'Bump'... Having said that, in a couple of days I will start informing some of my supra guys about the meet, so getting the 10 people will not be a prob, I just like new faces, thats all... Having said that, ASG14 bring a friend, you too Black2NA...

Will be thier loose more then anything. adam.. time to go back to 3rd grade english. dayam. and my chances of coming.. no effing clue. hahah. i wish i could say definitely, but thats the weekend after my gf comes back from italy.. and we will have LOTS of catching up to do [if you catch my drift :p ] i'll definitely be at the hopkinton meet the 23rd, so hopefully, ill at least see some of you there, if i cant make you're meet. |

Today is the day.. the ham is getting preped, ASG14 is sleeping on the sofa and I'm cleaning the place up to make it look presentable. I will see thows of you who are coming in a few hrs and will post pics for the rest of you bumbs some time later tonight.
