It kills me, it pains me, it hurts me, ... everything i've put my sweat, tears, blood, soul, heart, LIFE into... i'm selling. Why? Because I need ONE reliable, practical, safe, fun car. Not 3 cars that have random good things about them. Anyway, no reason other than that am i selling this car... it sucks, becuase i wish i could do something.. anything to be able to keep it, fix it up the way i want too, and still afford my life. But alas, there is no way. I need to pay off the loan on it, sell all three of my cars, pay off my credit card, and pick up one good, new car. Anyway.. onto the car.

The Bad

The car was involved in a minor accident with the woods in May of 2005. Wrecked the body kit, so it's in need of replacing. The front cornering lenses are dirty, and one broke, but is fixed, and they are both installed, and work fine. Inner tie rod was replaced, and the car runs and drives wonderful. Someone rear ended it last week, and broke the rear bumper more than it already was, but nothing else was damaged. No e-brake cables, and the speedo needs replacing, due to needle melting off [lost a main ground.. all grounds have been upgraded/replaced].

The front end has SOMETHING loose in it.. i dont know what it is. I just got an alignment and it helped a LOT, but still, theres something thats not quite right. it COULD be a bent strut insert.. in which case, its an easy replacement. There isnt much up there to replace, so all in all, it shouldnt be too expensive.

The downpipe pulled away from the turbo a little bit on the bottom due to a missing bolt. It leaks, yes, but negative side effects? other than decreased performance.. nothing detrimental. The exhaust is 3" anyway, might as well put in a 3" DP to fix, and upgrade the whole situation.

It needs rear tires like it's job. Seriously.

The car pulls insanely strong, and i'm gonna miss it so bad. I just can't afford to fix it up to how i want it, and deal with 2 other cars at the same time. Otherwise i'd definitely keep this car. The motor + mods are worth over $5000 alone, and i figure the shell is probably worth about 2000. It's straight, and there isnt an ounce of rust on it, whatsoever. This car has so much potential!

Price: $7000/best reasonable offer. Don't lowball me. I don't play that game. Any reasonable offer will be entertained. I'm not in any crazy rush to get rid of this car, so i have no reason to take stupidly low offers.

For pictures, please contact me at BoostinMR2@gmail.com, and i'll hook you up.

its a very nice car! sad to see it go! my friend's 92 mr2 is getting the 3sgte
in a month...anyway i am sure if you can fix the little problems here and there
people will pay more for your car...for example, picking up a set of newer tires off the yard for like $50 will make it more buy-able...
i will forward this to a few friends who's into mr2 and hope it will help you
to sell the car...good luck!

My supra is reliable, it has a 1 year old factory crate motor.  It’s practical, it’s a supra.  And there the safest car in the world, I have seen them drive right threw trucks and SUV’s in accidents…

Having said that, I was being light hearted as well…  Supra is a disease, and I love it.

UPDATE: Lowered the price to $5500. I need to get rid of this car to fund a new car purchase. This is a ridiculous deal people. I'm pretty much making nothing off this, as im asking just above my payoff on the loan.

Since my first post, ive replaced:

2 New rear tires
2 New KYB AGX Struts
100a Alternator
Belts
Oil Change

It's still loose in the front end, but really only at high speeds.. could probably use an alignment, and further examination.

And, ill throw in all my spare parts, brand new rear quarter windows, fiberglass brand new border front bumper... whatever i have, you can have.
