I JUST opened my struts from TireRack.  3 are right, but one is an old model that is a different color.

If i call up Tire Rack in the morning, should I expect a problem with them shipping another one out ASAP free of charge?

No, no problem. Their customer service is top rated! I once bought a set of wheels (out of many) and one got damaged in transit because of UPS. I had another replacement the next day. They are really good. They'll most likely give you an RMA for teh return of the spring.
