I installed Pilot foglights on my 91 Celica not to long after I bought the car. About a month ago my brother and I were installing new rocksford speakers in the front and when he unplugged the foglight switch he accidently touched a piece of metal, with the wire that connects to the positive terminal, and after the big spark no more foglights.  disconnect from batt? new wire?

I would say new fuse, either an inline fuse in the foglight wiring harness, or the fuse to the circuit where the foglights are connected to if not directly to the battery.

I would say the same, check the fuse. And next time, don't forget to disconnect the battery when you are working on the electrical.

So, did you fix it, and what was it?

Yea, I just fixed it a few mins ago, it was the fuse.  I just had to find one because I knew there was some around the house, but it's working just fine now, so thanks for the help.  I still kick myself in the ass for not thinking of the fuse.  Now the problem is, I do to close my hood and the latch wont lock, so I'm about to grab my haynes book and see if I can figure it out.  Any ideas on this?

There was some slack in the cable, I just had to pull it outward from the latch.
