I'm thinking of putting a meet together for next year sometime. Maybe go to the New England Dragway in New Hampshire. They have an open "street night" every Wednesday and Friday. I'd invite all of the Toyota communites. Anyone interested? -Doc

College depending, Fri could work. Not Wed for sure though, Night class. Maybe I'll have my front End conversion finished by then. Now I need $$.

I'd be interested if it were the weekend and better weather.

I liek to go to the meet, even though my ride is not a Toyota, but I am sure that does not really matter. I like to see how much I suck at the track :-) Friday would be a better day for me.

We'll make it Friday then. It will be when it's warmer for sure, I just want to get the word out now... I might even be able to bring down a newly built 2002 Corolla with the all new Phoenix Tuning Turbo Kit!

If I can get my engine freshened up and the new clutch/flywheel in then I dont see why I wouldnt be interested. Although week days are a bit tough for me as well. There are usually import war events on the weekends, then no one would feel out of place. Plenty of variety. The NE alltracs typically get together once a year up there, its a rather small gathering, but we still try to pull it off.

Sounds like this is shaping up to have a good turnout. Once the 2006 schedule is out, I'll see about announcing when the import wars events are.

http://www.newenglanddragway.com/ It's in Epping, NH. Not far from Portsmouth at all. Kristin, do you mean, "Can I bring my Subie?" LOL. Yeah of course you can come! It's open invite. Speaking of which, I sold your Celica the other day... $700. -Doc

30mins from Portsmouth, I can do this trip its a nice ride - hardly any cops and avg. speed is about 80 (not kidding). Maybe late spring early summer? I may run the car at the track barring its in fine mechanical condition.

Well I think we'll be running the new turbo kit on the Corolla in April, but we'll do it again anyway. -Doc

my car has No upgrades and a lotta miles, but the more I think of this meet the more Im thinking, as long as I get my suspension done before the meet (my suspension is just about shot) I'm gonna race my car, it's slow but screw it.

Hey, at least then, when you do upgrade your car, you'll be able to see exactly how much you've improved! -Doc
