i havent really done much to the car since i've bought it , except regular maintence , ohter than that just a K&N replacement fliter

so this is my first ...
RS-R Adjustble Panhard Rod
i chose the cheapo shipping so its going to take 4-7 weeks for delivery :-(  kinda regret that but whatever..
any way it wont go in till i get eibachs , GR'2's and new tires which i probably wont have all these items till mid winter so i guess it works out

its for keeping the rear axle aligned and preventing side to side movement of the axle beam.
Also the Tercel has a solid non adjustable oem bar , when lowered the rear axle will kick out more to one side , with the adjustable rod i can realign(recenter ) the rear axle

Is it the same type of bar as this?:

eh not really , the adj panhard bar is mostly used when you will be lowering your car because as i stated above the rear axle beam will kick out to one side (often causing more tire rub on one side than the other) so the adjustability will  allow for re alignment.
And i've read will be more noticable when pushing car very hard such ast autox.

The bar you show is more like an anti sway bar effect. TO each his own but i've read that with rear lower tie bars (and almost any suspension upgrades) the cheap ebay versions gave no noticable results
