hey doc how much is the VR4 swap? well my boy is looking into VR4's but i was wondering if buying an NA 3000GT and just swapping a VR4 engine would cost less.. what do you think NA to a VR4 swap or just getting the VR4 package?

That's a simple swap, not really much wiring involved. $500 for it. But, the engine is expensive. I think this guy paid $2500 for this front clip.

And once you're all done, your car is still FWD. My advice would be to get the VR4 if you can because then you'll have the AWD.

And no, you cannot convert a FWD 3KGT to AWD. Smiley

Yeah that and the supercharger setup, but we'll see what kind of money I can come up with to invest... so you need it back by May, right?

How much would it cost to rebuild a 87 supra motor with turbo (7MGTE)..  If its going to cost a lot then I was thinking of swaping the twin turbo motor into my car instead (1JZGTE)...

Actually, I highly recommend the 1JZ swap, it's not that hard and it's a lot of fun. I would do the swap for you for $1000, flat rate. A rough estimate just off the top of my head puts the total cost around $3500.

To do a full rebuild on it will probably run about $1500 - $2000.
