Lets see what you people think...

I talked with Dr. Tweak, he could do the 1MZ-FE swap.

I went out to a meet tonight and saw the car I want to beat. A turbo sentra putting out more than 250whp in a 2700lb car. Max boost, over 320whp.

1MZ-FE from the 1997+ Avalon puts down 200hp.

I'm starting to think about this:::

http://www.turbo-kits.com/tercel_turbo_kits.html

Putting that on my 5EFHE...

With that I should be putting down 171.6hp to the crank with the T25. That' according to the web site's 56% HP increase. That's a 61.6HP increase...

I'm going to upgrade to the T28Dual BB turbo.

If I don't get that kit (which according to lots of people ((Dr. Tweak included)) those kits are problematic). I'll go to http://www.turbochargers.com which is a local speed shop here in Houston... about 20 minutes from the apartment. Have them make a custom kit.

What do you guys seriously think? 1MZ-FE or 5E-FHTE?

   If you go with the 1MZ, add on a TRD S/C (has to be 97+ 1MZ Avalon or Camry) and get the 6PSI pulley upgrade,         Be good for another 50+HP  8O  8O  8O

My Camry has a Stock 1MZ with a 4-speed auto, and it has some balls on it.  Smoked the tires a couple times too.  :-o

Personally, I'd go with the 1MZ.
