wssup guys!!
I need some help here i wanted to know if its possible to put a 2zzGE 6 spd transmission on to a 1zzfe engine.
If it is possible what would I need.

thats a good question i've been thinking about that same thing. i had heard that yes it does fit because the housing are about the same but i havent seen anything to prove that. if anybody has anyinformation please let us know!

If you can do it why would you need the extra gear on a 1ZZ? Isn't it such a high ratio gear that the engine would not benefit from it?
Maybe Dr Tweak has some more info on this one.

i dont know about everyone else but for some reason on mine when i'm in 5th gear it feels like it needs another gear. especially when just crusing

I cant find a 1zzfe 5 spd tranny out there everyones only got the gts trans and there selling it for only like $200 complete like axles,ecu,shifter,pedals,cables etc..
So what yall think is it worth trying to put on a gts tranny.

Yes, it will fit. You will probably need to use the 2ZZGE clutch kit with a 1ZZFE pressure plate.

(BTW this is based on info from someone else saying that had attached a 1ZZFE tranny to a 2ZZGE, so I assume it goes the other way as well).
Also you may need custom engine mounts as 3 of the 4 mounts actually attach to the tranny, and I do not think they are the same between the two (a couple might be).

I found the trans here in hawaii my friends cuz had a GTS but got rear ended by a full size chevy truck and daym the car was messed up. he sold the motor and he had the trans lying around. so yeah.
