Altis Gasket problems.
I just got my corollas back and I am not happy. I had the altis side skirts installed and they look bad.
One is very wavey and the other I was told was very tight.

The gasket that comes with it make it look chesse.

The installer said the with out the gasket that there would too be to big a gap.

Go to a body supply store with a sample of the gasket if you can and see if you can order it in gray. Is the altis also polyurethane? If so whatever solution you get has to be flexible so that when the polyurethane contracts and expands with the temperature drops/rise.

If it is fiberglass then you may have to fins some other solution for it. Also if it is polyurethane and you say that it is tight it is only going to get tighter during cold winter days.

P.S. Whatever you do do not try to paint the gasket, the paint will start to come off and it will look even worse.
