Woohoo! Nice chuck!

now fusskin what do you mean factory tints? From what I know I don;t think the Corolla has that option. I thoght that at dealerships they usually have an outside company come and tint your windows?

hey just be careful of what percent you get cause i was pulled over and the cop asked me if i had a sticker for my tints.. idk wtf he was asking for but im guessing a sticker that tells you the percentage or a legal sticker. only got a fix it ticket though with my exhaust, break lights, and neon lights included lol. i was lucky he let me go cause i didnt have my registration or my insurance card in the car.

He was probably asking you for your Team NET sticker!  :police:

Ok ok, not that funny!  :dunce:

But at least here in NYC they can stop you and measuer the legality of the tints. I know cuz my cousin got stopped once and the cop busted out his little machine and determined his tints were too dark! Damn cops!

Anyway, I had 35% and never had any issues, not even with my banner or decals and stripes.

I just got my windows tinted for the first time.  Mine are at 20% and I have already driven by 3 State Troopers, 2 Maryland Transporations Cop and 5 regular county and city cop cards.  I have yet to be pulled over for it.  It all depends on how much the cop will be a dick towards you if they see/pull you over.

well, i know here in Connecticut if you get the tints done when you buy the car... the car is exempt.  Cause if you think about it... why would a dealer sell you something that is not legal?

Another way yo get around this is to get a note from your optician.  That's why i did, and the way how i got the presciption was to take my optician out to dinner... SHE WAS MIGHT-Y FINE!!

let's just say, i did alittle exam

I don't think thats right.. it's either 35% if light must go through or 65% of light can be blocked.... some places try to spin it.. but I've never heard of 72...

glass by itself blocks light...

and factory always put like 50% anyway on the glass.
I know this cause when i went to DMV to get it legalized, they said i had 30% when i had put 35% tints...

i still passed though   i knew the officer!

** i take that 50% back.... it's more like 75%** Cheesy
