hey all

I was just curious as to which set of springs is better?
I know with TRD I'll be able to keep my warranty, but I also know TEIN is very trustworthy and it will also be lower (S Tech).
So what are your experiences with both brands?  My major concern is handling.
The price shouldnt be much of a problem because my friends uncle is the manager at a Toyota dealership so I can get a mean discount. Thanks

as far as handling the teins have a better spring rate and are lower so they will give you the better handling. Cheaper too.
If you uncle is the manager at the toyota dealership then warrenty shouldn't be a problem aside from suspension issues. Warrenty depend on how crappy your dealership is. I love my dealership cause they don't give me a hard time about getting things warrentied. Hell they even warrentied my rotors and brake pads, yes brake pads, even when it was blatently obvious that I painted the rotors and calipers

get the teins, warranties are overrated, you have to pay for 99% of the things the warranty covers anyway.

aren't the TRD springs Eibach?
 :sleepy:

something alot of people overlook is what you are planning to do with your suspension.  Think ahead my friend.  And if you are... I think you should more look at a suspension kit.  Something that has the swaybars, the springs, the shocks, the strutbars...  Cause if you start to mix and match your suspension is gonna be all wacked up.

just my $0.02 CAN

well I don't have the money to bother with an entire set up at the moment (nor do I really plan to do much more). just want a set of springs to help the car handle a little better and to tighten the gap in the wheel well.

so I guess TEIN it is.
