first off. Doc, thank you from the bottem of my heart and wallet. thanks thanks thanks. i had a good time last night (dinner and the drive) and had a really good time on the way home. took it easy for about an hour till this tiboron v6 decided he wanted to play a little. he didnt for long...... even though lift was not there, he didnt have much luck. neither did the kids in the ol' school turbo saab. but anyways, the car ran great. the cel came on right before i got into ct and pulled over for license plate light being out. cop was cool and just gave me a warning. met up with fusskin in hartford for a bite to eat and come to find out there was tape covering the lite on the plate :brick: so i wrap this up with thank yous to all you guys for the support and want for this to happen. Doc, big ups man.

did you get lift to activate?
whatwas causing it to not activate? Nope, not yet. The computer will not activate lift without a speed sensor signal (the computer things that the car is in neutral). Because the Matrix had ABS, the speed sensor signal comes in through the anti-skid ECU, therefore, no speed sensor on the tranny. (The non-ABS version would not have this problem). So either we need to: Set up an aftermarket speed sensor (not a bad job) or Hook the speed sensor wire up to the tach and use a speedo calibrator to turn the signal speed down. (We tried this but at 4500 RPM the computer is reading 143 MPH or so, and the speed limter kicked in, so if we can cut this signal in half then we will be okay... but I personally think that we should get a real speed sensor. The car will run better and then Jerry will have a speedometer!) Jerry, Niki told me you called, I'm very glad the ride went well. Did the new rotor fix the pulsating problem? I called you but no answer around 2200...

Hey Doc you should think about watermarking your pics that way there is a reference back to you.

Sorry to bump an old thread... but I just have to say I read it all the way through for the umpteenth time... Doc, the work you did was amazing, and the end result was nothing short of genius. This thread makes me proud to say that my car is in the hands of the Dr.
