well first off let me start off from last night,
took my front off to to my mesh thing, let everything settle over night and finished it this morning, and then i decided to primer it today, so i drove around without a front bumper today no big deal
then i ran out to the store for my mom and on my way home, i went to shift into second and it grinded ( no i didnt misshift )
well after that it stayed in second, wouldnt come out, even with alot of force, so i called my mechanics, they came out to help me and found that it wasnt the trans or the clutch
but still didnt know exactly what it was,
they said it could be the throw out bearing, no big deal, i called advanced it was 34.99
so we got the car in third, and i drove home in third gear, only like 4 miles, we get to my house and start checking it out, playing with it we found it was the shift cable, it went bad, would move little but not enough to shift, soi call toyota, 198.00, umm nowe got to looking around and found one in JEGS mag, 39.99 for 4" cable and 27 for the quick disconnect toyota uses, plys 9 for handling free shipping, so i have to wait till friday to order it, well sitting around and since i already had half my interior out we decided to take more out and my headliner to do that, well then after a while it looks like this
