So, the people from MRtunerz.com who frequent CorollaCustomz have said that they would not mind meeting up half way from MD to just have a meet. I do not know how intersted anyone would be to drive down to the end of the NJ turnpike and meet up at one of the rest stops for a meet. It would mainly be to check out their rides and shoot the breeze.
It sounds like a cool idea, but not sure what you all think. It would probably be a one day trip, figure like two hours driving down south, and two hours coming back up plus some time to just chill. Some of you already live somehat down south, so it may be closer for you all.
Let's get some discussion going on this. And all of this is still tentative and it would need a lot of organozation on our parts. ANother thing 98RollaGyrl is the president of MRTunerz, and she is the one that has bought the projector lamps. It would give us a chance to check them out as well as their other mods.

something
DC is about 3hrs from me
so last time midway was about 1.5hrs
we met @ PHily and i pickup my parts from him
anyway

get there around lunch time
we eat,
attend their meeting together
chill out a bit
then we can either head home
or walk around DC

(like go Saturday, come back Sunday) I guess if we do the meet half way is cool, but I don't think we can do that on the 14th. I am waiting for 98CorollaGyrl to come and join to see what the deal is. She said she joined but has not gotten the e-mail confirming it yet. We'll see what happens. |

yeah, it would take me about 3 hours to get to the delware memorial bridge but i'm still down to drive futher than that. like i said, the drive is not bad going down there. as long as the rush hours iare avoided when rolling through jersey.

Road trips are always fun. I go up to meet up with the CC guys a lot. I try to go a couple times a year if not more. Im going up there actually in the end of september. They are cool as hell :cool:

I think we are cool w/ the idea of heading to meet w/ mrtuners of MD. Just slap a date, probably later on in October. How about the weekend before Halloween, 10/25/2003?
I cant guarantee that Im going, but I am just trying to help coordinate the possible road trip for Team NET members to meet up with MRTUNERS members. That should be a sick ass turn out. Im crossing my fingers that Ill be ok in the pocket to make that journey. ROB, WEDDINGS ARE EXPENSIVE, REMEMBER THAT, lol. THAT GOES FOR TE REST OF YA'LL, lol.

so i will probably stay in there for the car meet
maybe drive around town for a while
then head back to jersey
the 1/2 way idea is actually pretty good
coz then we can attract people
from PA (philly area,etc) and maybe even
upstate NY ppl to come also

Also, coming from someone who traveled from NJ to VA every weekend for 6 months....I would stay overnight. You would have to get here early to enjoy the sites of DC and then if u want to chill it would have to be at night so that would be a suicide trip. If yall stay overnight then I can see if we can go to Dream night club in DC. Saturday nights are International nights...mad hip hop, rap, r&b, and mad latin music on the last floor. There's this place near my crib that looks like an apartment. it has a sofa bed, a seperate room with a queen or king size but i'm sure u can get doubles in the room also. let me know and i'll get the info for you all. It would be cheaper if everyone chipped in and ish. I'd tour DC with yall too cause I still haven't toured DC during the day. And if the decals are made by then, then I'll buy them when yall come down cause i'm in need of some team decals for the ride..lol. |

Aight...I talked to my girl and she said that if yall want to sleep over its all good. The only thing is that we can only have 2 cars in the parking lot. (they tow after a certain time). We can get one car a temp permit and the other can park in our reserved spot. We can offer you our couch, the floor, and more of the floor....its all carpeted and the couch is comfy as hell! Lots of room on the floor!! only thing is that yall gotta bring pillows and blankets cause we don't have enuff of that and no sex in Will's Living Room! lmao.

If you decide to stay we can get something setup so ur car wont' get towed. Either you can take my reserved spot or we can get you a temp permit. this way they won't touch your car.
Fellaz, I also found out that the hotel near me has rooms for 109.00 a night. It has double beds and they should definately have a sofa bed. It has 2 TV's, a very small kitchen and a regular fridge. i also believe they have breakfast in the morning so yall can eat suttin before u go. And its not even a 3 min drive to Rt. 495 which takes you back to NJ/NY.

When will you guys be coming down? MRTunerz itself is going to have a meet on the 17,18,19th so that weekend is no good. The weekend of the 25th sounds cool. Honestly i think we should hold off on the MRtunerz/Team NET meet for sometime after spring. Since we're still working on the foundation of our club. We're still not fully established just yet.. Plus i think in Spring we would have a better turn out, and better planning.. Just my 2 cents, don't know how the other founders and members feel... Plus my car has the flu right now, lol.. I do however think MRTunerz and Team NET should definatly hold meets, like once a year at least or maybe twice, since they are our next door neigbors  |

just the parts that they are replacing, the rear quarter panel. But Im gona be primering my car after i install the body mods i want and that is called Project primer..i'll show u guys the finished product..Im primering my car so that i'll be ready to just paint in the spring.

Sucks ass cause now my insurance is double 8O 8O Fucking nonsence especially since i couldn avoid the accident cause the car went sliding cause the road was slick. anyway, hope u get ur ride the way u want it.

Hopefully Ill get everything striaghten out by the end of the year so that wya next year I can work on the car and come to the meets on a reg again.
